Wellington Smartphone Video workshop [VIDEO]

Video is the hottest thing right now, and businesses are already taking the first step to creating professional videos, all from their smartphones.

By popular demand, Get Ahead Media held another Smartphone Video workshop, hosted by Collider Wellington, at Biz Dojo.

Small business owners, and government department employees attended the lunchtime session.

Participants learned about the filmmaking side to telling a story using video as well as some of the technical aspects of using their phones - a small snippet of the two-day smartphone video production course.

Everyone filmed their own short video during the session, and those who were keen showed theirs to the group to get some valuable feedback on how they could improve.

They then learned some audio, lighting and steadying techniques to get them started.
